Watering the Links Residential Development

Residents of the Links in New Plymouth are surrounded by lush green parks, thanks to their pop-up sprinkler system.

The developers of the Links chose Weathermatic pop up sprinklers and an ADL system design based on cost and efficiency. They could draw out the spacing for lower capital investment and still get a uniform application. ADL designed the system and Adim Pumping & Engineering installed it. Gary Thomas who was the installer for the project says he chose to work with ADL because they offered a free design service for the project.

The system irrigates the gardens, playgrounds, grassed areas and other park environments. It needed good wind resistance, reliable filtration and efficient pumps that could cope with the elevation differences at the site.
Stage two of the links development is now on the drawing boards, and stage one is looking lively with well watered park areas.
